Admittedly, I'm a bit of a technogeek. I keep up on the latest technology, the new tools, new ways to get things done. I rarely go more than a few hours without popping online somewhere somehow. So in some respects, photographing Yiting & Scott's wedding at
Onteora Mountain House up in the Catskills (Boiceville, to be exact) this weekend involved a small step backwards towards a more primitive but simpler time. There was no wireless broadband or cell phone access. No emails, voicemaills, IMs, txts, or one of 1,000 other distractions from our everyday life bothered us.
Instead, up in the mountains, surrounding by nothing but forest and beautiful views, Yiting & Scott exchanged vows of love and fidelity in both English and Chinese, then danced like Fred & Ginger to the delight of all.

Our dear friend Maggie and fellow photographer from
Maggie Wallace-Cullen Photography assisted us to provide wall-to-wall coverage for the day, and our favorite DJs, Stephanie & Jeff Paduani from
The DJ Solution kept the crowd dancing non-stop through the night. In fact, they've
blogged about the day themselves.
